Remix TPT for first re-issue

The Pineapple Thief are inviting you to remix their music. The best remixes will be released on the bonus disc of the 'Little Man' re-issue, due for release early 2010 on KSCOPE. We'll also publish the best remixes on this site.

Below are links to RAR files of the various stems from each song.  You will need a copy of 'winrar' to extract the files (320kps MP3s), a fully functional trial version can be downloaded here:

Each RAR file includes a text file with the tempo and time signature information.

We are interested in totally different interpretations.  Remixing the existing arrangement is not what we're after.  So, feel free to use what you wish, chop what you wish and add what you wish.  Basically, anything goes. Please make sure you read the terms and conditons below before starting.

Before you submit your mix, please carefully read these official terms and conditions. By submitting a mix to Pineapplethief.com you agree to be bound by these terms.

The mix or mixes which The Pineapple Thief judges to be the best or most interesting will appear on the re-issue of Little Man on K-Scope Records. It is very important that you do not use any ucleared samples in your remix. There will be no exceptions and your remix will be rejected.

You (the Entrant) hereby agree, confirm, represent and warrant that:

1. all rights in and to any remixed versions ("Remixes") of the songs available to remix ("the Songs") created by the Entrant shall be owned by The Pineapple Thief and to the extent necessary the Entrant hereby assigns all rights in the Remixes of the Song to The Pineapple Thief throughout the World for the full life of copyright and any and all extensions and renewals thereof. If requested by The Pineapple Thief, the Entrant shall complete and sign a formal assignment of copyright to give effect to the foregoing;

2. all rights in and to any Remixes of the original sound recording of the Song ("the Master") created by the Entrant shall be owned by The Pineapple Thief and to the extent necessary the Entrant hereby assigns all rights in the Remixes of the Master to The Pineapple Thief throughout the World for the full life of copyright and any and all extensions and renewals there. If requested by The Pineapple Thief, the Entrant shall
complete and sign a formal assignment of copyright to give effect to the foregoing;

3. Bruce Soord will be registered and credited as the sole writer and the publisher of the Remixes of the Song created by the Entrant;

4. the Entrant will not acquire a copyright interest in the Song by virtue of creating Remixes of the Song;

5. the Entrant will not use any other elements or parts of the Song ("Stems") otherwise than to create Remixes of the Song for entry into The Pineapple Thief's Little Man remix promotion;

6. the Remixes of the Song do not incorporate any samples or other materials which are subject to third party proprietary rights (for the avoidance of doubt this includes but is not limited to, other The Pineapple Thief sound recordings) or otherwise infringe the rights of any third party;

7. the Remixes of the Song are not obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law;

8. the Entrant will not exploit, or allow others to exploit, the Remixes of the Song created by the Entrant without the prior approval of The Pineapple Thief and Kscope; and

9. by submitting Remixes to Pineapplethief.com, the Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Apple Inc from and against any claim or cause
of action arising out of such Remixes or Entrant's participation in the promotion.

In submitting Remixes to PineappleThief.com the Entrant confirms and warrants that they have full power and authority to enter into this agreement and hereby indemnify The Pineapple Thief from and against any and all costs and damages incurred as a result of any breach of the representations and warranties made by the Entrant herein.

The Entrant understands that The Pineapple Thief may commercially exploit the Remixes of the Song created by the Entrant without consulting with the Entrant and without any form of remuneration.

Pineapplethief.com reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to remove Remixes from the website that it deems offensive or inappropriate and/or Remixes that breach any of the above terms and conditions.
